The race that will pass through Pale, East New Sarajevo and Jahorina from tomorrow to Sunday will remain recorded as one of the biggest sporting events from this area, thanks to the 2021 UCI Gran Fondo World Championship.

Organizers from the Cycling Federation of Republika Srpska, the Cycling Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Sports Association are expecting competitors from about fifty countries in East Sarajevo, and with them numerous journalist teams that will broadcast the picture from the championship around the world.

For the "picture", among others, will be in charge of Go Pro cameras, specializing in extreme sports and cycling. In cooperation with the Go Pro brand, the company Prointer ITSS, which operates within the Infinity International Group, also contributed to this world event. The company says that it is an honor to be a sponsor of this prestigious, sporting event.

- Years ago, we were part of the most important sports events, aware that by promoting sports, we also promote health, socialization, and especially the inclusion of children and youth in sports activities and teams. This championship is a great challenge and a great opportunity to show ourselves to the world in the best light and to get as many guests back as possible. Everyone should contribute as much as they can to an event like this, and I am proud that our company will be a part of all that - says Gordana Kovačević, director of Prointer.

The organizers do not hide that, in addition to the promotion of sports, they also believe in the promotion of the natural beauties and tourist potentials of the Romanian region. That is why, apart from the competition part, they also designed a day for rest and enjoyment.

The last day is reserved for the 136-kilometer Grand Fondo race, which starts in East New Sarajevo and ends in Jahorina. Cyclists will ride on one of the most difficult trails in the world, where the total height difference is up to 200 meters.
